Attention deficit disorder (ADD), also known as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), is a condition characterized by persistent difficulty maintaining attention, impulsive behaviors and/or hyperactivity. ADD is commonly diagnosed in younger children, and can continue throughout adulthood.
