Global Patient Feedback for Abitrexate (Methotrexate)

I started taking methotrexate for RA in August of 2011. I take folic acid every day to offset side effects. The only one I've had so far is increased body temperature, and that's pretty mild compared to the rest of the side effects I see listed here. If you're not taking folic acid with it, prescription strength, you'll have a lot more side effects from it.

I have been taking methrexate for a very long time for psoriasis. It keeps my psoriasis under control. I get a blood test once a month and have not had any problem. It's great not to put up with the problems of my skin breaking out and have nice smooth skin. 71 year old female
