What does it do?
This product is used primarily in the treatment of various cancers. It works by promoting the formation and inhibiting the disassembly of stable microtubules which then inhibits mitosis in cancer cells.

This product has a black box warning relating to prescribers needing to be familiar with complete prescribing information, an increased risk of anaphylaxis/severe allergic reaction, and suppression of the immune system which may put the user at risk of infections.

I take 20mg of Paxel for mild depression. The statement above indicates it is used for treatment of some cancers. I have no sign of cancer of any kind; should I discontinue Paxel?
