I took Activella for almost 10 years and I, too, continued to have hot flashes every time I stopped. Tried every other day for a while, and that helped. After the tenth year, I stopped altogether recently, and so far no hot flashes, thankfully, but now I'm experiencing extreme vaginal dryness and discomfort (feels like the skin is being torn). So I'm back on the HRT for a while--so far, vaginal dryness & pain are better. Hope this will work for some.

I am 46 and have been experiencing minor yet persistent hot flashes over the last few months. My doctor gave me a three month supply of Activella samples to try. I am wondering if taking half dose daily or full dose every other day would be beneficial at all? Would taking such a small amount be worth it? I am just nit sure my symptoms warrant jumping full force into HT, yet they bother me enough to want help! I get plenty of exercise, eat healthy, etc. Thank you!
