I used to take BC powders as well. it was the only headache remedy that worked for me. Since they changed the formula (removing the salicylamide) it is pretty much useless. I'm trying Emagrin because it is the only remedy that I've found that has the salicylamide but so far it doesn't seem as effective- it only has about 1/3 as much salicylamide per dose as the BC powders had. Apparently the salicylamide is effective on certain types of headache including migraine- I would hope more research could be done on this or that BC would at least offer both formulas.

I have taken BC headache powder for 25 or 30 years, maybe 1 or 2 a day at the most. It is the only headache remedy that stops my problem. That is the only pain meds I take.

I use BC"S for headaches , wonderful med , works great esp if you put it a coke and drink
