Global Patient Feedback for Belladonna and Phenobarbitone

I only take it in liquid form when my diarrhea/diverticulitis really gets bad. It helps within about 20 minutes. This is only in the evening: after a social event, a particularly large or rich meal, and after I get home. Since this is a narcotic, a person has to be careful taking this drug, but it is really effective, in my opinion.

My daughter was given belladonna-opium suppositories for pouchitis to relax her muscles so she would not awaken to use the bathroom at night. Although she does not use them and they are expensive, she had very active colitis and after surgery to correct it, it never was corrected.
