I hope someone updates these comments. I am trying to read as much feedback on this drug as possible. I am taking it for PVCs (irregular heartbeats). I just started so I will have to report back on how it is working. Hopefully someone will also post here. Good health to all!

I have been on Bisoprolol for 2 years since my double bypass. I never had high blood pressure. Doc just said that this is the usual med after this operation. I felt tired all the time and had no energy. He cut the 2.5 mg. in half and again to a 1/4. I still don't have the energy I had before. I think it is a waste of time and money for this drug. The salesperson must have done a terrific job on the doctors.

I have been on Bisoprolol 2.5 about nine months after a single bypass operation. I was feeling unwell most of the time, pounding in my head when I laid down or bent down, wheezing when I laid down on my back, aching in the tops of both arms, Cardiologist decided to do a stent operation. This did not improve anything. weeks later aches in my legs started but it seemed only on simple excertion like getting up from the settee or climbing a few stairs. After bursting into tears at GP surgery saying I just felt awful most of the time, Doctor advised coming off different medications for a couple of weeks to see if it made any difference. The last one I came off was, you guessed it, Bisoprolol. within a few days I began to feel quite normal. In fact so normal that I have since decorated a bedroom. My husband just said welcome back. Its 6 weeks on now and I feel as if I have my life back, been under a black cloud for a while, but the suns out now thank goodness.
