I take tegratol 3 times a day for bi polar disorder it has actually helped me lose weight by stopping my appetite which is a positive thing for me as the usual tablets generally make you gain heaps of weight. Does it help with the mood swings maybe a little but by the end of the afternoon I feel as though I have hit some kind of wall.

I had lymphoma and as a result chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The lymphoma subsided but I have severe osteoarthritis with blistering low back pain. TEGRETOL SPARED ME A 14 HOUR NEUROSURGEON OPERATION. I had to sleep on the floor. I took the tegretol only when I feel the pain. I replaced the Tegretol with chewable calcium en Repatrol. IT works. I am 70 years old. I found no side effects from all. THANKS TO THE MANUFACTURERS. JOHAN

Hi, I have been taking Tegrotal and Lyrica for nerve pain. I was having a root canal when I began experiencing severe pain and burning. That was in 1997 and the pain comes and goes. Has anyone had this problem? The pain gets worse after having caffeine and becoming upset.
