What does it do?
This product is used in the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis which is crucial for the reproduction of bacteria.

This product has a black box warning relating to its increased risk of potentially fatal clostridium difficile colitis.

I took this after a root canal and after the meds were done I broke out in a rash. When I went to the doctor they said it was a classic case of an allergic reaction to being on clindamycin.

I use Clindamycin in lotion form, 2x day, for adult acne (around chin) and have not noticed any side effects while using in this format.

I have IBS and am concerned for already take Zoloft which can makes matters worse with IBS and now, what I read on Clindamycin...should I really take this stuff?? My dentist failed his job when I went in for tooth ache and less than 2 months later, the infection was moving to the bone hence this very powerful and scary AB
