I worry abouot Cymbalta. It was prescribed for me for depression and now it is prescribed for pain relief. Well, it certainly doesn't help me with pain (two failed back surgeries) but if I miss more than a few days of Cymbalta, I do start getting weepy and cry a lot. I've spoken with my doctors about the duel use of this medication, but they all assure me that it works on my depression so don't worry about it. Female - 67 years

When it first came on the market in 2005, MD's were told, that it works for Depression and Diabetes's!! That 's also not True!! For being so EXPENSIVE I stopped taking it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else have trouble sleeping using Cymbalta? I have just started using it took 30mg for a week and now on 60mg for almost a week. I took Amitriptyline 50mg for 6 years for my fibromyalgia. This seems to take care of the pain and I feel so much clearer headed. I also seem to have hot flashes at night too. Thanks
