Global Patient Feedback for Estratest

I have taken estratest for years with no serious side effects. Now my insurance tells me this medication is no longer manufactured. The good things while I was on Estratest HS was, I quit losing hair on my head. My blood became thinner. It was not so much thinner than I was a bleeder but I bled what was a normal amount. I had a total hysterectomy when I was 41. Also, it improved my mental health. I developed more patience and was happier. I didn't know it was connected to the medication until I quit taking it because I could no longer get it. The only con was weight gain. Now they put me on a generic and I had to quit talking one generic because I became extremely agitated to the point where I was afraid of hurting myself or someone else. They put me on a different generic and I have to take 4 times as much as I did to feel satisfactory results.

There was something in the news not long ago about the manufacturer not having FDA approval to make the combination. But, I now buy it generic from Fred Meyer (a Kroger company). It is listed on their generic listing as "Est Estrogen/Methyl/Test HS" for the Half Strength version that I take. Price is $9 for 30 days & $24 for 90 days without insurance.
