Advair works for me. no sore throats. I just wish my lung profissiency was better. On the peak flow meter I only canj get it up as high as 300 which is still pretty low. no mater what the dr tries that is what it stays at.

I am a 64 year old female and I've been asthmatic since I was 2 years old. I was put on advair and took it for 3 years. I did not notice any real help with the asthma and had numerous sinus infections which made my asthma flare. From the day I started taking advair I had a sore throat even with rinsing after use. The day I quit, I lost the sore throat. My doc put me on symbicort and that has been a real blessing--no sore throat and asthma under control. 64 year old female
