I take Keppra for prevental migraines 1000 mg twice a day for about 4yrs. now. This med does not make me sleepy or nervous. I can however see a difference if I miss a dose. My sister-in law took a smaller dosage because of seizures and could not function at all. Everyones body adapts to meds differently. If this med is disrupting your life I strongly encourage you to talk to your doctor about it and keep a med journal to jot down how you felt on that day. 42yrs old Memphis, TN

I'm a person who has been having seizures for 43 years now. But when I started taking the Keppra, about 6 years ago, I really could see a difference in the seizures. They really took a different count throughout the coming years! I used to have up to 60-80 yearly! Now, it's gone down to where 25 is the most I'll have a year and so far this year (2011) I've only had 8 and it is already the end of September.

my daughter is 8 years old and as 1000mg of keppra twice aday. She also as clobazam and eplim twice aday.
