I would like to know if anyone had their mirena removed??? How successful was it?? because I wanted mine removed after I got married an I was told that my strings were too short so I have to come back while on my period.....so Now I'm like ok since I have had it 3 years my period comes and goes whenever it appears...has anyone been told the same if so how was your removal??

i just got the mirena July 13, 2011...it is now July 24, 2011...The only side effects I have had is the random break through bleeding and random cramps. I am willing to deal with it because I was told it takes 3-6monhts for your body to adjust to it...I will keep you updated...I have had 2 friends that swear by it.

I have had Mirena since October 2008. I havent experienced any side effects that i have noticed. I enjoy the convenience!!
