What does it do?
This product is used to lower cholesterol levels. It works by reducing the amount of bile acid reabsorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

I am 74 years olds and I started taking Cholesturamina week & a half ago.. I doctor gave it to for diarrhea. It only cost me $2.65 for 60 pack. There is a orange sugarfree one and it doesn't taste bad. I was a little afraid to take it a first for all Cholestrol medicines affect my legs and I didn't need that again. But so far so good...and no diarrhea. Wish I had talked to the doctor earlier.

I have been on the drug for only a month, so too early to tell if it will achieve the aims I have for lowering my LDL cholesterol. But it is only costing me $7 a month with my insurance plan (and I'm in the Medicare doughnut hole right now), so it's certainly reasonably priced. It's a little gritty and tasteless. But since it can be mixed with liquids with flavor, the bland taste can be overcome. The only negative is timing of it with other medications, but I have been able to work that out.

I've taken it for a mold allergy & it is very effective. Wish it did not cost so danged much.
