i've been still on the 1mg at bedtime of ropinerole for refractory fibromyalgia..up till yesterday..my neurologist increased my dose. for two weeks i'm supposed to take 0.5mg in the am and 1 mg at bedtime. then go to 1mg in the am and 1mg at bedtime. i had been in added pain and i wasn't sure if it was weather related or if i needed an increase..so far i've felt zonked..slept this am till 11:15am. yesterday could not seem to think straight..got off the wrong exit going where i usually go..and could not figure out how to right myself as i was somewhere i never had been..thank God for cell phones. normally i would have been able to figure it out..but i just could not get my thought processes together. hoping this is just the increase in med and will settle back to usual as i am not like this at all. also woke about 2 weeks ago with numbness of one finger..just the tip from nail down..continuous not intermittent..since then..began july 9th. neurologist said it is something to do with the nerve..doesn't think carpal tunnel and we will watch it..doesn't see a real bad problem..but came out of the blue..i did not sleep on it as i sleep mainly in the recliner as i cannot sleep on my hips or back..then i am in agony where as in the recliner i have no pain usually. it is a sucky way to live..i hate it..but for now i have no answer other than that..i do not have the money for a craftmatic bed. and i already tried the special foam things to add on top of the mattress under the sheets..do nothing for me at all. thanks for listening..any ideas anyone on any of the above?

I have been taking Requip for over 8yrs and have never had any side effects. I take 1mg at night before bed and still have a hard time falling to sleep. I take Cyblata also at bedtime and it does not make me sleepy either, I take it for Fribo.

It makes me very sick to my stomach and sleepy for about an hr after I take it. I have to lay down, which is not always convient. I have been on Requip for 7years, and it doesn't get any better. But anyone with RLS knows, can't do without it.
