What does it do?
This product is used for the treatment of high blood pressure, and is also used to treat patients with a history of angina or heart attack. It works by blocking 'beta' receptors that play an important role in regulating heart function.

My Mom took 1 Toprol in 2006 prescribed for a rapid heart she never had before and within 24 hours she was dead !!!!

Hi. I've been taking Lopressor now for almost a year and I have had no bad side effects. I do however recommend you follow your doctor's recommendations so you will not have any problems he or she does not know about. Linda

I don't trust Drugs, but my doctor seems to think they help me and they believe Vitamins are no good and I often see lawyer commercials about the drugs harmful affects. I used to take the diabetic drug Avandia and the doc took me off when I was about to ask him to remove it.
