What does it do?
This product is primarily used in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, esophageal reflux and esophagitis. It works by blocking the stimulation of acid producing gastric cells.

I take ranitidine mostly for the side-effect of reduced itching. This was given to me along with zyrtec by an immunologist. i have been taking them for about 16 years. it has greatly improved my reflux (waking me in the middle of the night) .It has helped itching somewhat. Before that, I was given nexium. it did not work for me.

Ranitidine 150 mg, I take 1 pill 1/2 hr. prior to eating anything in the AM. Just the 1 pill a day. what is the adverse reaction Re: build-up if over 65?

i know taking this med it does cause slow/fast heart rate and it have effected my heart rate to go up and taking this and zrytec d and mirtazepine together make your heart rate go up high
