Does anyone know if you can crush up Zoloft and put it in water and take it instead of swallowing it?

I take 50Mg of Zoloft and 25mg. Metoprolol 2 times a day... I seen they can interact with each other.. Is it something I should be very concerned about? I was very nervous about taking these meds to begin with. Thank you.. Carrie 37..

I am a 57 year old female and started Soloft 50mg a couple of months ago. I had a very bad couple of days after the first dose. I quit taking it then. My doctor wanted me to start it again but at 25mg dose. I took it one time and was sick for three days. It made my ears ring terribly, sick stomach, weak, dizzy and just felt terrible. I will never take this med again!!
