Global Patient Feedback for Zomig

I have headaches that somewhat meet the cluster headache description, yet in other respects seem closer to tension headaches. Whatever the case, I've experimented with ever smaller doses of Zomig by cutting tablets in quarters. At this point, I find that a quarter tablet works well and generally makes the headache subside within an hour at the most. Taking an Aleve with it speeds the process. I suspect that perhaps others could lower their dosage too (a good thing, no?).

I have suffered from migraine pain for years, Zomig nasal spray is the first medicine that actually worked for me. If I am very severe I have to take a second dose, two hours after the first as recommended. Usually if I take one dose it works. The taste after the spray is not good, my throat gets a little tight, and sometimes my nose is a little sensative to touch, but to get the relief from the headache and stomach ache pain is simply wonderful!

Zomig is the only medication that works fro my migraines. I take the 2.5 tablet and have no side effects. It takes up to an hour, but always works, although my headaches sometimes come back after 24 hours. I'e been taking this as needed for over 10 years. So expensive. When will a generic version come out?
