What does it do?
This product is approved for use in the treatment of both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It is believed to work by acting against two important chemical messengers in the brain called serotonin and dopamine. It is available in the form of normal tablets, orally disintegrating tablets, and intramuscular injection.

This product has a black box warning regarding use in elderly patients with dementia related psychosis.

Weight gain is a problem. I gained 15 pounds in 2 weeks while on the Zyprexa. Had to stop taking it. Am trying it again, being aware of my eating patterns to hope to have better control and not eat everything in sight!

One thing about this drug is that it does make you gain weight. Otherwise I think its okay

what is the drug that has the same effect as olanzapine but without the unwanted side effects eg erection problems (in men), weight gain, lack of motivation ,it was available in the usa and i have been told is available the uk soon or even the present
