I been taking Dicyclomine 10mg 4 x days for 7 months now. It totally changed my life no more cramps or sever diarrhea and stomach spasms. I'm able to sleep and function normally now. It took my team of doctors 5 years to figure out what was going on with my stomach and intestines.

I don't take Dicyclomine (Bentyl) & Xanax together. I only take Bentyl when I have bad stomach cramps; usually after I eat too much. I have not noticed getting groggy or sleepy after I take it. I take it for IBS w/constipation. Bentyl is the only thing I've found to ease the stomach pains.

I was prescribed Bentyl but Medicaid required the substitution of Dicyclomine for severe stomach cramps. I've been on it for a year and my cramps have only wordened. I'm looking for any kind of relief as I am now taking mega doses of Ibuprofen.
