When will there be a generic form of Plavix? Very expensive drug that my cardiologist says I will need indefinitely due to coronary artery disease. I had to have a stent in 2006 and get good checkups now. Jann, 70 year old female

I have had no side of effects of Coreg. It has been prescribed by my cardiologist to reduce the rate that my heart beats. Betty

Can any of the drugs prescribed for HBP or CHF cause low hemoglobin count. Since I have been on Coreg, along with a combination of HCTZ and Atacand my hemoglobin count has been on the decline. I also take a thyroid hormone since I've had a thyroidectomy 10 years ago.
