I have Meniere's Disease, and just recently started this med.I am not sure how I feel about this yet, too soon to tell. Anyone get any chest pains, or numbness in fingers/hands? I take several other meds too, for other conditions.

I understand there is a shortage of Dyazide and I'm unable to refill my prescription. Is there another similar medication that I should talk to my doctor about? Dyazide has worked very well for me.

I started taking Maxzide in October 2010 as my blood pressure was running irratic 198/98 then down to 160/78 consistantly. One doctor had me on 200 mg of Zoloft, which the new doctor reduced to 50 mg and added the Maxzide. I do drink a lot more water than before but have since starting this med lost 30 lbs. So something must be working, blood pressure is now 125/70, in 4 months time.
