What medicine can you buy of the container that is similar to Allegra. My insurance no longer covers this medication.

I take 180mg Allegra (fexofenadine) each morning and 10mg zyrtec before bedtime to suppress chronic idiopathic pressure hives. I tolerate these drugs very well. Sure beats doubling (or more) of these 2 drugs and adding atarax and prednisone to kill hives. These drugs have been a life saver.

I saw an ENT because I have had chronic frontal headaches for 3 years. Medications given by a neurologist were not working. A CT scan showed sinus congestion and a deviated septum. She prescribed Flonase and Allegra. After a couple months I began waking up during the night with stomach pain. I stopped the Allegra, and the pain stopped. I did not notice any increase in congestion. Apparently the Flonase is doing very well. I also notice that my headaches began disppearing after stopping the Allegra.
