Can you stop taking this medication without having withdrawal symptoms? After reading all the comments about this drug I am wondering if I should even be taking it. I have experience extreme exhaustion, and blurred vision but I am on a lot of different meds that have sedation as a side effect. I can't get into see my doctor that prescribed this for 2 months. What do you advise?

I have been on Flexeril 10mg, and Trazadone for years..I take one each before I go to bed. I sleep well, and have no side effects...My eyesite has actually gotten better. I only need glasses to drive..Before taking the meds I was wearing glasses all the time..I don't know if the meds have anything to do with it, but people are always asking me, "don't you wear glasses"?...At 69 years old, I guess it is a rarity...I read a lot, and it's a blessing not to be bothered with glasses..I have spinal stenosis, prolapsed discs, and degenerative disc disease..The Flexeril helps with back spasms..

I also wish someone had told me about dry mouth. My mouth is a disaster and all because no one told me either. I am disabled and fall a lot. My teeth had fractures and my dentist didn't day a word about using something for dry mouth. Now I've lost 2 teeth do to dry mouth. I have fractured teeth in the front of my mouth and I know I have another jaw tooth going bad. I also found out about dry mouth from a person that was going to throw out the samples for biotene. I am so grateful she gave them to me instead.
