Since I started using Flonase six months ago, I don't have to watch the pollen count, don't wake up with those horrid sinus headaches and itchy, stuffy nose, and the cough that drove me crazy with spasms and itchy feeling trachea doesn't bother me at all. I thought it all just passed away by itself, so I stopped the Flonase for a few days, and it all started again. I'm back on it now and doing great. Sure hope there are no long term user side effects for the spray. I used Nasonex spray and it made my sinuses feel like they were on fire. I guess everyone is different.

After using Flonase for a while for my frequent sinus congestion, which did improve, I noticed that when I wiped my nose I'd see smears of blood. Then I started seeing clots of blood on the tissue. I blow my nose as gently as I can, so I don't think that is the problem. I stopped using Flonase about a month ago because of the bleeding and clots; however, my nose got very sore on the inside. A few days after that, I got a huge, red, swollen spot on the right side of my nose. It continued to grow and got redder each day until was about the size of a quarter! I went to the doctor, who diagnosed the sore on the outside of my nose as cellulitis. He prescribed anitbiotics for the infection, and warm compresses, which helped a lot. Do things like this happen to other people who use(d) Flonase?
