I just started the Methotrexate (not spelled right) after being diagnosed with RA after a long battle for years. It has awful side effects, the only way I can describe it is like setting a nuclear bomb off in your body. They told me if my 4 year old had cancer it would be what they would give him to treat it, same dose. gonna keep trying, but i dont know if I can handle it. any other options that worked? I have 3 kids and I am 25, just want to be normal again.

I have been getting Abatacept infusions for 2 years. It has been my "miracle" drug. Within 48 hours of my first infusion, I could ride my bicycle!! I hadn't been able to do that for 10 years! I've not had any side effects.
