What does it do?
This product is primarily used for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. It works by prolonging the effect of serotonin, an important chemical in the brain.

I've taken 60 mg/day for a few years. We moved recently and my meds were lost for 2 days. By the second day, I began to experience anxiety almost as bad as ever. Before I could restart the medication, the anxiety had caused severe trembling and the return of depression. Not a med to be taken lightly!

I have tried many antidepressants over the years and I am the one percent of the population that cannot have them as they cause sucidial tendencies. Paxil is the only one that has not caused that!

i have been without paxil, not by choice but rather ran out of meds and did not notice side affects as much as the crying. I cannot be without this because I cry at the drop of a hat. I think its crazy but its true.
