I am no longer taking Protonix. It was not working for me.Iwoke up about 3 AM every night with severe pain at the same eite that had hemorrhaged several times previously. My gastroenterologist changed me to Dexilant and changed the time that I take it to about 3 PM.I am much better and do not have pain on most nights

I have been taking Protonix for over a year now and had no problems. My doctor suddenly changed me to Famotidine 20 mg.twice a day. After taking this medication for one week he suddenly changed me back to Protonix without any explanation.I also take Plavix 40mg.daily;dilantin 200mg daily;and Zocor 20 mg.at night. Now I have suddenly developed a "Torn Meniscus".Is there any correlation?

I started on protonix after the doc found the beginning of barretts AND too much acid. He said I needed it with plavix I was on HOWEVER I've been switched to Coumadin when I had a Pacemaker put in,,NOW it seems my too much acid NERVOUS stomach is back. Does Coumadin and Protonix MIX WELL. I'm also super tired ALL THE TIME.
