I have been taking Seroquel for about 5 yrs, to help me fall asleep at night. I am prescribed 50mgs at night, but I have cut myself down to 1/2 of a 25mg tablet. Do you think it would be safe for me to just stop taking it all together, since I am on such a low dose now, for over a year?

I took seroquel for several years. I was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago. I stopped taking seroquel after I was diagnosed. I am sure this medication caused me to develop diabetes. This is a dangerous drug, and should not be given to patients. I think it should be taken off the market.

Have been on it for 3 years, take 600mg every night. Has most definitely helped with my severe mood swings.
