Global Patient Feedback for Remeron (Mirtazapine)
Please see our forum guidelines.
I am a 58 year old male that has been on Mirtazapine for a little over 3 years. I take 45 mg of it at night & I'm not sedated the following morning; I take it in conjunction with 20 mg of Prozac in the morning.. I've tried many antidepressants & have found Mirtazapin to be the only one to yield sufficient efficacy. I don't have any side effects. I also take 7.5 mg of Olanzapine & 200 mg of Quetiapine Fumarate both at night. My doctor would like to stop the Olanzapine by increasing the Fumarate.

I have just been prescribed Mirtazapine for anxiety and panic attacks. I have taken 2 doses of 15mg. The side effect has been to make me feel like I have a hangover in the morning. Does anyone know how long this takes to wear off.?
