Global Patient Feedback for Spiriva

I tried Spiriva for approximately 4 mos. & by then my urine stream was almost non-existant. I was coughing up sputum 3 or 4 times a day - whether the sputum was already in my respiratory tract or whether the Spiriva caused the sputum I don't know. But the urine problem it caused was enough to make me stop this medication.

New to Spiriva. Haven't taken any yet. I'm so frightened of all the side effects. Does anyone experience any? How about weight gain? Gained 15 lbs. in 2 years since stopping smoking (due to a stent). Dr. prescribed Spiriva for shortness of breath, but said once I lost the weight, he will take me off of it. Can anyone please ease my concerns. I'm a 73 yr. old woman. Thanks.
