I have been taking Zetia for approximately 2 years and have had great results with keeping my cholesterol under control. I could not take the most popular medicines because it made me feel like I had the flu.

I take aspavor, Ezetrol, and Ecotrin for my high cholestrol condition. My cholestrol reading was below 6 at my last blood test. I also take Vectoril for blood pressure. I have been on these medications since 2005. Prior to that I was on Lipitor only since my teens. I had carotid surgery on both carotids and had to have a stent inserted after the problem resurfaced in my left carotid. I have developed Dystonia and hemi-facial spasm over the last twelve years. I sometimes have muscle spasm in my feet and legs and have sudden short spells of black out. I eat properly and am fairly active.

I take diovan and simvastatin and am in such pain in my right arm to the point it goes numb if I reach for something the wrong way. I have tried different cholestrol and high blood pressure meds. Nothing seem to work without pain. I am now dizzy at times as well as I loose my balance. My memory is very bad. In the middle of a sentence I can't remember the name of what I want to talk about. This is becoming very bothersome. I can't walk for long peroids of time. My legs become so heavy. I loose my breath. Is this normal? My doctor only looks at one symptom at a time.
