This recall for Carvedilol Tablets, USP, 25mg from Sandoz was issued at a warehouse and pharmacy level only. Sandoz Inc. Recalls Single Lot of Carvedilol Tablets

Sandoz Inc. has recalled a single lot of Carvedilol Tablets, USP, 25mg. Lot number KW10E305 is being recalled because a capsule containing a different drug (lansoprazole 15 mg) was found in a bottle from this lot. Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used in the treatment of heartburn and acid reflux.

Carvedilol is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Carvedilol is also sold under the brand name Coreg. No other lots, strengths, or brands of Carvedilol were involved in this recall.
