Prostate cancer treatment temporarily unavailable

Genus Pharmaceuticals Ltd is temporarily ceasing manufacture of Novgos 3.6mg implant (goserelin acetate) and recalling all remaining stock from pharmacies and wholesalers due to concerns regarding implantation. The product is effectively being withdrawn until the implantation system can be made more robust.

Please note that there are no known safety concerns where the implantation has been performed according to the approved instructions.

Novgos 3.6mg implant contains goserelin, a hormone analogue used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer.
