What does this mean?

iGuard is currently monitoring safety alerts for Listerine products. At this time, there have been no reports of problems with this recalled product. If you use Listerine, look at your bottle to see if it is "Advanced Listerine with Tartar Protection Antiseptic, Artic Mint" and if it is a large bottle containing 500 mL. If you have this recalled product in your home, it may contain the wrong information on the back label, including the wrong instructions for proper use. You may wish to either discard it or take it to the store where you bought it to see they are willing to exchange it. Information about properly disposing of medications can be found here:

Recall of Single Lot of Advanced Listerine with Tartar Protection

Johnson & Johnson have announced a recall of a single lot of Advanced Listerine with Tartar Protection Antiseptic, Arctic Mint in 500 ml bottles. This recall notice only applies to Lot number 1749LZ (exp 5/2011) of Advanced Listerine with Tartar Protection Artic Mint Flavor. This product is being recalled because the bottle is mislabeled with the incorrect back label.

No other Listerine products are involved in this recall.
