Generic Manufacturer Recalls Two Lots of Spironolactone 25 mg Tablets

Vintage Pharmaceuticals is recalling two lots of Spironolactone 25 mg Tablets. Lot numbers T118F09A and T118F09B are being recalled because routine testing found that the amount of active ingredient was too low in several samples from these lots.

Spironolactone is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure as well as other conditions. Spironolactone is also sold under the brand name Aldactone. This recall alert only applies to these two lots of the generic Spironolactone 25 mg Tablets made by Vintage Pharmaceuticals. No other spironolactone products were involved in this recall.
