members with Epilepsy or Seizures

Epilepsy is a condition that consists of recurrent seizures. Seizures are short bursts of abnormal, excessive neuronal activity in the brain that can present as an alteration in mental state, as abnormal involuntary movements and/or as psychic symptoms such as déjà vu. Seizures are usually classified as either partial (seizures that only affect one part of the brain at onset) or generalized (seizures that involve a much larger part of the brain), and may be triggered by emotional stress, sleep deprivation, fever, flashing lights and sometimes menstrual timing.
